

Producing 1,817 horsepower, the engine gives the car a top speed of 271.6 mph and a 0-60 of 2.6 seconds, though Hennessey claims it could break the 300-mph barrier. The intensity of the Venom F5, however, comes from the 6.6-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine nestled behind the cockpit.

One of the ways they've achieved this is by replacing the traditional steering wheel of the Venom GT with a carbon-fiber yoke with paddle shifters, inspired by airplane and formula 1 steering systems, giving a better view of the road ahead and their electronic speedometer.
